Tim Cook’s Apple — Bloomberg Businessweek cover. Causes a reaction in tech/design circles for sure. I do get what they did tho, see similar work/illustration from Steph Davidson http://stephdavidson.com/
But I can’t get it out of my mind…..my miiindd……
Rare pic of Gordon and Donna from their first failed Comdex
From ARGO! lol, this is great/blew my mind. They played a couple in that film too. And the timeline is just about right as Argo takes place in 1978. Awesome.
Yeah, late to this party because just finished season 1 this weekend and was catching up on HACF subreddit.
I mean, it’s the worst, right?

Here it is in all it’s HD glory - the opening titles of Halt and Catch Fire. Directed by Patrick Clair, much lauded for other recent title work for True Detective, and stuff with Elastic. This is a fresh official upload, likely to coincide with a piece that’s going to go up on artothetitle.com tomorrow giving us the scoop behind this project and great result. Enjoy
Halt and Catch Fire, opening titles.
Caught my eye. No idea who did them (yet), but was inspired to get all animated-gif on it.
Edit: occurred to me after posting that when I thought about doing these gifs two weeks ago I had looked it up and it’s done by Patrick Clair at Elastic. (See also: True Detective titles). There just wasn’t any more details other than he was working on it. Great work. I hear there’s a feature coming on Art of the Title shortly!
an amazing illustrated look at this one fan’s favorite episode of The West Wing - “17 People”.
This is a must see people. The drawings and stuff are amazing, and it definitely is a good episode if you remember it. You’ll remember it after enjoying this site.
